Physics Lab UI — 6 Editable Science Icons

Six science-themed symbols for interface labels and illustrations: Wave, Magnet, Lens / rays, Closed circuit, Pendulum and Caliper. Use them in finished personal or commercial projects such as games, apps, websites, videos, presentations and educational materials.

Colours, sizes, themes and drawing detail are variants of these six designs, not additional icons. The artwork is symbolic, not a physics simulation or calibrated measurement.

What You Get

Download Latest v0.3.2 for the current documentation. Previous v0.3.1 remains available for existing projects. Each ZIP contains:
- 24 ready-made icon SVGs: six designs × two themes × 24/64-unit drawings. Colours are already set.
- 60 transparent icon PNGs: six designs × two themes × 24, 48, 64, 128 and 256-pixel sizes.
- 36 advanced icon SVGs: six designs × light/dark/monochrome × 24/64-unit drawings. Advanced monochrome uses currentColor.
- One self-contained HTML customiser, source scripts, a visual preview, beginner instructions, troubleshooting, licence, test reports, inventory and checksums.

Quickest Way To Use An Icon

1. Download and extract the ZIP. Open START-HERE.txt.
2. Choose beginner/light for a light interface or beginner/dark for a dark interface. These names describe your interface background; the PNG files themselves are transparent.
3. Choose a size. png-24 suits a 24-pixel icon; png-48 uses simplified geometry for a 24-pixel display at 2× density. Use png-64, png-128 or png-256 for larger placements. svg-24 and svg-64 are scalable alternatives.
4. Import the chosen file like an ordinary image. Keep a text label beside important icons and check its appearance in your destination app.

This ready-made route needs no code, customiser or server. If SVG import behaves differently in your app, try the matching PNG.

Make Your Own Colour Or Size

The tested customiser-opening route uses an existing Python installation and a local-only web server:

1. Extract the whole ZIP and open a terminal in the physics-lab-ui-v0.3.2 folder.
2. Run: python -m http.server 8765 --bind 127.0.0.1
3. Open http://127.0.0.1:8765/offline-customiser.html in Chrome. Keep the terminal open while using it; stop the server with Ctrl+C when finished.
4. Pick an icon and light/dark defaults. Change Outline colour, Accent colour, Second accent and Interior colour, or choose monochrome. Choose simplified or standard drawing detail and a whole-number export size from 16 to 2048 pixels.
5. Select Download SVG or Download PNG. The preview background is not exported. Cancel PNG export stops an active export; Reset everything restores the starting settings.

The page has no external page dependencies, tracking or account. Loaded-page offline operation was tested. Direct double-click/file opening remains unverified. If you do not have Python or do not want to run a local server, use the ready-made files.

Tested And Untested

The recorded tests used Chrome on Windows: 320/375/768/1440 CSS-pixel widths in both themes, keyboard controls, invalid inputs, reset and 22 actual SVG/PNG export pairs. The report also records 133 mocked logic checks separately.

Physical iOS/Android devices, Safari, Firefox, Edge, native vector-editor imports and game engines are untested. Desktop responsive widths do not establish physical-device compatibility. No universal compatibility or formal accessibility certification is promised. Check custom-colour contrast and tiny exports in your actual project.

AI Assistance

OpenAI-powered assistance was used for code-native SVG construction, code and documentation. Supplied source provenance states that no stock icon pack, copied reference image, trademark or raster image generation was used. This is a production statement, not an independent legal-clearance audit or worldwide uniqueness/copyright guarantee.

Minimum price: US$1.50; applicable tax is shown at checkout. Personal/commercial finished-project use and modification are included, with no required attribution or additional per-project fee. No standalone asset redistribution or resale. Collaborators may use the files only for your projects under the same restrictions; finished client projects are permitted.

Written file-defect support is included for 30 days from purchase through this product page's comments. Use docs/ISSUE-REPORT.md; comments are public, so omit private project details, payment data and personal information. Support does not include custom artwork, integration, calls or training. v0.3.2 is a documentation-only patch. Artwork, executable code, preview and operative licence terms are unchanged from v0.3.1. The existing v0.3.1 preview shows the unchanged artwork.

Permission

With your purchase, the publisher grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, to the extent of the rights the publisher holds, to use and modify the included six icon designs and their variants in personal and commercial finished projects, including games, apps, websites, videos, presentations and educational materials. You may use them in multiple projects. Attribution is welcome but not required; there is no additional per-project fee.

You may use and modify the bundled customiser and build/source files to prepare icons for these projects. Collaborators and contractors may access the files only to work on your projects under these same restrictions; that access does not grant independent reuse or distribution rights. You may deliver finished projects containing the artwork to clients. Do not include reusable raw assets in public source repositories or hand over a standalone asset library under this licence.

No standalone asset redistribution or resale

Do not resell, sublicense, give away or distribute the raw or modified icons, customiser, build/source files, or a substantially equivalent standalone asset pack. Do not package them as a reusable icon library, design resource or template whose main value is access to these assets. A finished project may contain the artwork, but must not deliberately offer it as a reusable source-asset download. You must not claim exclusive authorship or exclusive ownership of these conventional scientific symbols.

AI assistance and scope

OpenAI-powered assistance was used for code-native SVG construction, code and documentation. No worldwide uniqueness, copyright clearance or exclusive-rights guarantee is made. The licence grants only rights the publisher can grant. These are symbolic illustrations, not calibrated measurements, scientific simulations or certified safety symbols.

Compatibility, support and refunds

Read COMPATIBILITY.md and TEST-REPORT.md before use. Tested and untested environments are stated explicitly. Compatibility with every browser, device, design tool or game engine is not promised. The customiser was tested through a loopback HTTP server; direct file opening remains unverified. Ready-made SVG/PNG assets need no server.

Written support for file defects is included for 30 days from purchase. Report defects through the product's itch.io comments, using ISSUE-REPORT.md and omitting private project details, payment data and other personal information from public comments. Support covers problems with the supplied files, such as corrupt/missing files or reproducible faults in the included assets/customiser. It does not include custom artwork, project integration, calls or training. No particular response time, guaranteed fix deadline, lifetime support or future feature/update entitlement is promised.
